Hehe sounds excellent - apart from the falling off bit - did you manage to put the theory into practice? (the ice prob didn't help!). I'd love to do the caersws uplift, I was thinking about it as there are lots of races there this year, but I'm not sure I'll be able to afford it - I could do with a cheap month or two really :S you going? It was sketchy! Woods were ace, perfect grippiness but the open sections were scary-as! Reckon the 'gippy' leg will let you ride on the next uplift? Went up eastridge today just to dig the track that comes in above the darkside (and is actually a xc ascent but we're making it down too...) probably riding during the week but where will depend on warmth i think! x

i have got my new frame now and the green hope's look really good in it so i have decided to keep them

we saw a few guys try the road gap on the student trail wich was pritty cool!!

you can buy mine if you want, they are brand new, but have been built into wheels but if you just want the hubs i can dismantle them, i would want same money as new new tho so i can get a red set coz my look is gonna be red

Yeah Liverpool's a long way away but we're going up for boyf's mum's birthday then down to Kettering for a housewarming, which is quite near chicksands. There is a vague logic there somewhere!
Have walked there with a DofE group but never ridden, remember seeing a couple of jumps tho i think. What's it like??? x

Oh and dalby was fun, weather was nice! We tried to take a short cut which didn't work tho and we ended up pedalling near enough what we would have anyway, lol x

Good time if you were cruisin! Yeah 1:28 something which I was really pleased with, I pedalled a lot compared to in practice but was pretty shit round the tight corners and rubbish on the stupid trailer... It was dodgy, didn't like the way you landed onto it, but maybe I needed more faith... Lol reckon you'd have had to wait a while for the free taxis - they were all in use! Kerry seemed ok later, she was at the party anyway! x

Pretty ming at the top! And at the bottom! Went up purposely late and hid in the toilets - so relieved when it was finally cancelled, we'd been walking up to watch some racing and every couple of riders, one would crash bad. Any idea what time you got? I was well lucky really cos my seeding run went well... How was yours? x

Yeah me too, no idea where to stay tho, campsites and stuff seem to be a bit far away. Watched the Edinburgh one last year which was great. Lol good for you for hitting it - yeah this one doesn't seem like much of a drop really just landing to flat if you don't get the downslope doesn't seem too appealing. Think I need to just go for it and it be ok to get some confidence :S x

Lol i don't know - it was pretty soggy which I straight away took as an excuse not to attempt it. I'd love to do it but never really gone for anything like that, I didn't even do the (kind of) gap in the second open section at round 5 - did you? They've made and taped a little new bit in the second section in the woods but the rest would seem to be the same :S lol. Is your bike sorted now? X

Was it you I saw as i was pushing up the fire trail on sat? We only headed over after we'd watched schladming then craig came off going into the open section to take off all the scabs from injuries he sustained last weekend so we only spent a couple of hours there. I didn't even try the road gap - didn't see any tyre marks on it either - did you guys do it??? Shame we missed you lol, hope you had fun x
